Make PAD Part of the Game Plan

The World Cup brings the world to Atlanta, but after the final whistle, our community remains committed to showing up for one another. Our “Make PAD Part of the Game Plan” campaign is designed to help residents, visitors, and local businesses and organizations understand when and how to call 311 to reach PAD and to support care-based response in Atlanta.

Whether you're a resident, visitor, business owner, community organization, or simply someone who believes in care-based response, we invite you to help raise awareness about PAD.

Explore the resources below to learn more about PAD, meet the people behind the work, download campaign materials and enter our World Cup giveaway.

The Best Assist

The PAD Team shows up every day to assist the community. During the World Cup and beyond, our team members demonstrate what care-based response looks like in action. While we would love to highlight every staff member, here are a few examples of how PAD meets people where they are and provides support.

Click on the profiles below to get to know the people behind PAD's work, learn what inspires them, and discover why they believe care can change the game.

Because behind every PAD assist is a person committed to helping another person move forward.

  • LaShonda Proctor, Clinical Advocate

“PAD’s work is about restoring dignity, creating access, and reminding people that they are worthy of support, safety, and opportunity, no matter where they are in their journey.”

  • Kasali Obanoyen, Community Responder: Team Lead

“Every community possesses talent, resilience, and untapped potential. Sometimes what people need most is not charity, but opportunity, encouragement, and a platform to succeed.”

  • Reese Ward, Care Navigator

“At PAD, we don't just provide services, we build relationships, restore hope, and help people find a path towards stability and success.”

  • Dream it.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
