PAD does something that is actually pretty simple - we treat human beings like human beings.
What does "meeting people where they are" mean to you?
We are all so different. How can we expect the same thing(s) to work for everyone? There are SO MANY reasons for people to be experiencing barriers to housing, health, and happiness in their lives. What I love about PAD is that we recognize that - each person is just that, a person, with their own individual needs. Just like all of us are human beings who have different needs. And we meet people where they are to help in the very best way we can.
What's the best assist you've received in your own life?
I'm lucky enough to have a very supportive and loving father who has dedicated his life to being just that. He's been the assist for me when it comes to all the hard things life throws at all of us. He shows up again and again with the assist!
